How do you measure the length of a text? The length of a text is measured in terms of the standard page, meaning 30 lines of 60 keystrokes, i.e. 1800 keystrokes including spaces.
How do I determine the number of standard pages? If your text is in the most common format, MS WORD, you can determine its length yourself. In the WORD 2003 program, choose Tools – Wordcount. Divide the number of characters shown (including spaces) by 1800 (one standard page). The result is the number of standard pages in the original document. In the program WORD 2007, the number of standard pages is determined using the same calculation, but you will find the number of characters on the card Revision in the group Spell check. You may also use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+G. If your text is in a different format, please send it to us, and we will estimate the number of standard pages for you.
How long will it take before the translation is finished? The guideline for the delivery deadline is 8 standard pages of text per day. The days when the text is received and delivered do not count towards that deadline.
Will the translation of the text be good? Our agency strives to provide the best possible translations. That means the text will contain no spelling, grammatical, lexicographical or other deficiencies, and its content and style will match the original.
Who will translate the text? Our translators only do translations into their own native language. These are provend translators with appropriate education and experience.
Do you also translate technical texts?Yes. If you have a technical text that is more difficult to translate, we add a surcharge to our base rates in the price list. Surcharges for difficulty may be as high as 50%. You can contribute towards the desired quality of the translation by providing the specific terminology used by your firm or by giving us the name of a person to consult with concerning the translation.
How much will I have to pay for the translation? Our prices are competitive, and we believe you will be pleasantly surprised. Ask us for an offer.
How is the price of interpreting determined? The price of interpreting (consecutive and simultaneous) is based on full day and half day rates. Half day rate: Interpreting for a period of up to 4 hours, either in the morning, i.e. until 1 p.m., or in the afternoon, i.e. after 1 p.m. Full day rate: The full day rate is used for interpreting for a period in excess of 4 hours, but not more than 8 hours. Each full or partial hour in excess of 8 hours will be charged at an hourly rate.
We would be happy to give you a price estimate.
What is localization?Localization is a specific type of service that, besides the translation itself, also involves adapting a product to the customs and needs of local users while maintaining the desired effect of the text.
